Royal Moscow Ballet

"The Royal Moscow Ballet" was founded in 1997 as the choreography of the day demanded new repertoires. The first production was Cross Winds to Chopin’s music. Now, years after, this performance as well as other productions from this company, they can boast of a repertoire that includes such classics as   the Nutcracker, Cinderella, Swan Lake, Don Quixote, and Giselle. Dancers develop their talent on classical choreography. The company consists of the best Russian choreography school graduates.
Moscow Ballet Theatre "The Crown of  Russian Ballet" has toured successfully in Russia and around the globe: in the USA, Great Britain, Canada, Germany, Tanzania, Israel, Egypt, Japan, Sri-Lanka, Philippines, Singapore, China and now for the first time in 2011 Ireland. In May 2006 "The Crown of Russian Ballet" gave the first  ever ballet performance in East Africa , exploring and performing in new territories never before visited by a Russian Ballet.
 
The company is headed by Anna Alexidze, the representative of a famous ballet dynasty, and Anatoly Emelianov, the choreographer.
