FOREIGNER, with its timeless anthems – “I Want To Know What Love Is,” “Cold As Ice, Waiting For A Girl Like You,” “Hot Blooded,” “Juke Box Hero”, continues to rock the charts with ten multi-platinum albums, sixteen Top 30 hits and album sales now exceeding 80 million copies.

FOREIGNER has now reimagined these hits for a new European orchestral concert tour set to kick off July 6, 2019 in Ulm, Germany. FOREIGNER’s orchestral concert series provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for fans to experience the band’s most popular hits with full symphonic sound with Russia’s acclaimed IP Orchestra.

This concert series was inspired by the Billboard chart-topping album Foreigner with the 21st Century Symphony Orchestra & Chorus released on April 27th, 2018. The album immediately hit the #1 spot on the Billboard classical album chart and was also streamed and broadcasted by PBS nationally. FOREIGNER’S recent orchestral tour has included sold-out shows across the US, Australia and New Zealand, including a return to Lucerne, Switzerland’s KKL in 2018 and a full house at the iconic Sydney Opera House. FOREIGNER’s Lucerne performance will be transmitted on Germany’s TV ZDF/3SAT “Pop Around The Clock” on New Year’s Eve, December 31st, 2018.

Mick Jones: “I could never have imagined when I set out to create Foreigner 40 years ago, that we’d still be touring around the world and performing the music we love all these years later. These orchestral arrangements have shown us a new symphonic dimension of our music, which I hope our fans will enjoy.”

FOREIGNER recently celebrated its 40th anniversary with a worldwide tour of amphitheaters and arenas. FOREIGNER has been awarded platinum singles for digital sales of “I Want To Know What Love Is,” and “Juke Box Hero,” demonstrating its resonance in the era of downloads and streams. YouTube views of FOREIGNER songs total almost five hundred million, and the band’s recordings are constantly featured in movies and TV shows all over the world.

FOREIGNER are: Mick Jones (guitar), Kelly Hansen (lead vocals), Tom Gimbel (rhythm guitar, sax, vocals), Jeff Pilson (bass, vocals), Michael Bluestein (keyboards, vocals), Bruce Watson (guitar, vocals) and Chris Frazier (drums)
